Footfall, fire rating and replacement cost matter more than appearance in a commercial specification.
Start with the wear layer
Anything commercial should start at 0.5 mm. A domestic 0.3 mm wear layer will show traffic lanes within a year in a busy space.
Plan for partial replacement
Click-fit systems let a damaged plank be swapped without lifting the floor. In a retail or office environment, that difference saves far more than the initial cost gap.
Check the certifications
Fire rating, slip resistance and VOC emissions are usually specified. Samaro products carry ISO and CE certification, and the test data is available on request.
